*ShinJitsu: Is a concept, a way of experiencing life. It presents a model for training yourself to be the sole arbiter of your own personal liberation. Shinjitsu uses methods drawn from key aspects of both the *Healing Arts and the Martial Arts.
To refine and harmonise the Self on multiple levels. This integrated approach allows you to be active participant in the process of your self development, not just a passive recipient of information..
- To enhance physical, mental, and perceptual abilities using a Martial Arts ~ Healing Arts format.
- To help move beyond personal fears, doubts, and self imposed limitations.
- To help develop a greater harmony of Body, Mind and Spirit.
The concepts of ShinJitsu are based on three distinct but intertwined expressions of the Self: Body, Mind and Spirit.
Body ( I move) ~ Mind ( I think) ~ Spirit ( I am)
The Body (I move):
Spacial awareness, breath, and intention invested in the flow physical movement as an expression of being-ness: Becoming fully engaged in the “Now” of the three-dimensional world by the physical mechanisms of “I do”.
Watch-words: Breath, intention, and movement as one fluid expression of Self.
The Mind (I think):
Stilling the Mind and harmonizing left brain logic with right brain imagination. Experiencing the unfettered, coordinated interplay of the right (creativity) and left (logic) hemispheres of the brain as a direct expression of fluid thought and co-ordinated perception.
Watch-words: Developing clarity of thought and intention through an unfettered presence of Mind.
The Spirit (I am)
Refining our senses where we can directly experience the inherent life essence that flows through all things. This essence is known by many names such as: the “Tao”, “All That IS”, The Universe, etc. Gaining direct and palpable experience of this essence will change the way you experience life and how express yourself on all levels of your being.
Watch-words: Developing a deep knowing of Universal Truth. through your own direct experience.
Why a co-ordination of these aspects is important:
By developing an understanding and proficiency these three connected areas we can create a way to resolve the divisions and conflicts within ourself. This in turn opens the door to developing a deep sense of peace and a sense of connection to both within ourself and our surroundings. Inner peace and a sense of self confidence changes the way you act and react to life challenges and towards others.
Deep inner shifts ripple outward. We change our life outwardly by developing ourselves inwardly.

*Shinjitsu: The Japanese word shinjitsu meaning “Truth” also translates to “reality”. shinjitsu is composed of the kanji 真 (read shin) meaning “true; truth; reality” and 実 (read jitsu) meaning “truth; reality”.
