Knowledge vs Intuition

Knowledge (Outer Self) vs Intuition (Inner Self)
It is not a competition. It is a game balanced by training.

These two aspects of ourselves work best when they work together in harmony. Neither one is ‘better’ than the other but rather, each has a speciality and a language all its own. They communicate through an information highway; a dense network of nerves in the centre of the brain, the ‘corpus callosum’. Let your intuition and knowledge work together by developing a common language between the two. The language is called “trust”.

Intuition connects to knowledge through a trust in your own insights. This trust is developed over time by a mindful practice of not letting your fears and self doubts override your gut instincts. Let go, trust your intuition to inform your knowledge what is relevant to the solution you are seeking. Developing this ability to balance your mind by training your knowledge and intuition to play well together increases your overall effectiveness considerably…I believe all great inventors, artists, and creators develop the ability to interface seamlessly between these two aspects of Self: The dreamer  and the implementor. If the Inner Self can dream it, the Outer Self can birth it.

The Enigma of Consciousness.

(Excerpt from ShinJitsu- The Art of Personal Empowerment)

One  of the greatest mysteries of Human existence is the how and why of our consciousness. Science and religion each have their own definitions and mythologies on the nature and source of conscious awareness. Lately a third option is becoming more accepted in some quarters. This is due mostly to questions raised by Quantum physics. The musings of Quantum Physics offers us a peek behind the curtain at the mysterious paradox of consciousness. Perhaps we will never know what the true nature of consciousness really is and where it emanates from but is it not ironical that something which we all possess (conscious awareness) remains an elusive mystery.

It is slowly becoming evident even to science that Human consciousness is not a byproduct of brain activity. The brain acts as both a transducer and receiver and is responsible for our cognitive awareness, but it is not the genesis for the larger phenomenon of consciousness. The brain is more akin to a computer or television, in that it can interpret and play a broadcast signal, but yet does not create it. If this is so then, what is consciousness?

I offer the following possibility for your consideration:

Your consciousness is an autonomous micro expression of the omnipresent intelligence field that some call “God”. In essence, your consciousness is a holographic bubble, a *quanta of individualized, self-aware Universal energy that has the autonomy to create its own experiences. At the same time this quanta it is still connected energetically and harmonically to the source from whence it emanated. This Quantum Bubble of awareness has the ability to further subdivide itself so it can project a portion of its awareness into a physical container while the larger, non local part of it remains outside the confines of physicality silently observing itself.

Let us call this Quantum Bubble the “Observer Self”, the embedded part of it “The Body Self” and the energetic interface zone between these two “ The Higher Self”. What you experience as “The Body Self” is a localized sliver of your awareness which has encased itself for a brief time in an organic hologram called your body. It has interfaced with the physical body via the mechanisms of the brain and central nervous system. This allows your consciousness to experience the virtual hologram we call ‘reality’ in a very intense way. At physical death this localized energy withdraws from the body and re-integrates with its larger holographic projection “ The Observer Self”. This in turn may be apart of other multiple expressions and projections of self . Holograms within holograms within holograms like Russian Dolls ad infinitum for all eternity..

iurTaking this further: Is it possible that everything in the Universe is just infinite expressions of a single consciousness. An unknowable infinite intelligence experiencing itself subjectively through multiple levels of awareness and infinite points of view both inside and outside of space and time . Rather like an eye looking at itself through the mirror of its own experiences.

* Quanta: (In Physics) A discrete quantity of energy proportional in magnitude to the frequency of the radiation it represents.

Free Thinking and the liberation of Self

There are two ways to be fooled. Letting others fool you and the other is fooling yourself.

I see a disturbing trend in today’s world: An increasing derision and persecution of those people with a sense of independent thought, opinion, and discernment. We are inundated on all sides by prepackaged opinion, information, and the pressure to defer to those in “authority”. Mainstream news has become little more than an indoctrination device. The arts and other imaginariums are being done away with in schools. Political correctness driven by an increasingly hostile neo-liberalism is eroding open debate and discourse. The most absurd notions are unquestioningly being accepted as everyday fact by the public at large. There seems to be an unannounced agenda at work whose goal is to eradicate diversity of thought, action, and opinion.

Separating from the herd and mainstream thought is not as easy as you might imagine. Free thinking does not come without a price. Those of us that wish to reclaim to our birthright as free thinking individuals must be prepared to swim against the tide of conventional opinion and fashion.  If you choose this path be prepared to be ostracized from society and even your social/familial circle. You will most certainly be labeled a kook, difficult, bigoted, a conspiracy theorist, or worse. The price of freedom from consensus reality may be heavy, but in my opinion the price of staying ignorant is heavier. So what can you do?

For those of you on the path of self liberation it is important to educate and train yourself in the ways of personal power. As in learning any craft it requires work and practice.

Here are ten suggestions for your consideration:

Step one: All forms of media can be used as devices for shaping public opinion along certain prescribed outcomes. Therefore to become immune to being manipulated you should learn how mind control and perception management is done. As in a magic trick, once you know how the magician does it you cannot be fooled by the same trick twice.

Step two: Learn the ways of self-healing. There are many ways to do this Reiki, Bodywork, Nutrition, Meditation, and Qigong are but some examples.

Step three: Steer clear of belonging to any group or organization for “group think” inevitably follows. Teachers and mentors are handy while learning a skill but only until you understand a method and then let practice be your guide.

Step four: Respect the knowledge of others, but realize that all forms of human understanding are limited. No one has all the answers and we are all in various stages of supposing.

Step five: Limit your time on electronic devices and the like. Instead spend more time in nature connecting with your surroundings.

Step six: Develop a sense of detachment and discernment from public opinion and behaviour, but not at the price of empathy and compassion.

Step seven: Know that you are in total control of your own inner reality and inner power. Be the keeper of your own kingdom by treating yourself (and others) with kindness, awareness, and love.

Step eight: Question everything, but at the same time maintain an open mind to all possibilites!

Step nine: Knowledge is important, so choose your sources carefully.

And finally step ten: Respect knowledge and experience, but keep in mind we are all just human and are all just in various stages of supposing and guessing. Only the Universe knows the whole truth of creation.

Remember:  You are a reflection of the Cosmos. Be what you were meant to be: A fluid, dynamic expression of your own inherent uniqueness.
